<h2><strong>Position Summary</strong></h2>
<p>The <strong>Director of Sales</strong> is responsible for leading and executing the hotel’s sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented leader who can develop business across all market segments while maintaining strong client relationships and representing the Hampton Inn Colchester brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.</p>
<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize room revenue, group bookings, and overall hotel profitability.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, group organizers, and local community partners.</li>
<li>Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, and networking activities to generate new business opportunities.</li>
<li>Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.</li>
<li>Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Management team to forecast, budget, and achieve sales targets.</li>
<li>Oversee the creation of sales proposals, contracts, and promotional materials.</li>
<li>Represent the hotel at trade shows, chamber of commerce events, and industry networking opportunities.</li>
<li>Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to ensure performance excellence.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and maintain a strong brand presence in the marketplace.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).</li>
<li>Minimum of 3–5 years of hotel sales experience; prior Hilton or select-service brand experience a plus.</li>
<li>Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.</li>
<li>Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.</li>
<li>Proficiency in hotel sales systems (Hilton OnQ, Delphi, or similar preferred).</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and travel as required.</li>

The Lead Maintenance will supervise daily maintenance tasks, coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot equipment issues, and provide leadership to other maintenance team members.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<h3>Operations &amp; Maintenance</h3>

<li>Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations of the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.</li>

<li>Ensure HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems are functioning properly.</li>
